New Book Tackles Community Transformation Through Prayer
Cleansing Our Land: Praying the Shepherd’s Heart For Your City By Randy H. Skinner
Spiritual Giants plague today’s church, leaving it impotent to fight the Goliath’s in our cities. A new book, Cleansing Our Land gives us five smooth stones to slay the spiritual giants in our land. They are:
Preparing for Spiritual Covering Through Praise
Protecting Yourself from Spiritual Attack Through Confession
Placing Your Family in Safety Through Intercession
Producing Redemption of the Land Through Petition
Powerful Results from the Celebration of Thanksgiving
In Cleansing Our Land, author Randy H. Skinner gives us the tools to stand vigilantly against the giants that seek to terrorize today’s believers. Never has the difference between heaven and earth been so stark. Never has the arena of prayer been so poor. It seems as if the church has failed, the world is amused, and Satan is victorious.
Even the most faithful believers find themselves a long way from the throne room in the midst of their own personal giants. This is the backdrop the author uses to bring us back to the basics of prayer. Prayer that leads us back to our Father who feels our hurt and pain and comes to our rescue.
We all find that at times our prayers are awkward and our attempts seem feeble. But as we humble ourselves in the presence of our Father, we realize once again, that the power of prayer is in the God that hears it and not in the petitioner that says it. Prayers can and will make a difference when we follow the guideline of strategic biblical prayer. Join the author and thousands of other believers who are seeing their cities transformed by the prayers of Cleansing Our Land.
